2019 reissue of Asics' 2006 cult running shoe, the gel-kinsei OG. This “brown stone / kelp” colourway is a collaborative release with Kiko Kostadinov-adjacent Affix Works, and features a redesigned lacing system more reminiscent of Salomon than most asics running shoes.
More about it via End Clothing ad copy: “Arriving on the scene earlier this year, radio show-turned-fashion label - Affix Works – is the brainchild of Kiko Kostadinov, Stephan Mann and Taro Ray; set up to produce garments that draw inspiration from traditional workwear under the theme of ‘New Utility’. Joining creative forces with ASICS, the label rework the Japanese brand's signature Gel-Kinsei with a utilitarian take, arriving in a hi-vis yellow upper. Designed for maximum breathability, the lightweight runner combines mesh with synthetic overlays to deliver an airy fit, secured by a technical toggle system for a functional finish”.
Excellent condition, with light creasing to upper and minor wear on sole (see pictures). No box.
